भारताविरुद्धच्या या पराभवानंतर पाकिस्तानी क्रिकेट चाहत्यांनी भारताची टेनिसपटू आणि पाकिस्तानचा क्रिकेटपटू शोएब मलिक याची बायको सानिया मिर्झावर निशाणा साधला. भारताविरुद्धच्या महत्त्वाच्या मॅचच्या आधीच्या दिवशी सानिया मिर्झा पाकिस्तानच्या खेळाडूंना घेऊन हॉटेलमध्ये गेली. पाकिस्तानी खेळाडूंचं लक्ष विचलित करण्यासाठी सानियाने असं केल्याचा आरोप पाकिस्तानी यूजर्सनी केला.
