मुंबई : आयपीएल २०१८चा हंगाम संपत येत असतानाच बीसीसीआयने महिला क्रिकेट टी-२० लीगला प्राधान्य देण्यासाठी स्पेश सामन्याचे आयोजन केलेय. या ऐतिहासिक सामन्यासाठी भारताचा कर्णधार विराट कोहलीने दोन्ही संघाच्या कर्णधार हरमनप्रीत कौर आणि स्मृती मंधाना यांना शुभेच्छाही दिल्या होत्या. या सामन्यासाठी सकाळपासून ट्विटरवर #IPLWomen हा ट्रेंड होतोय. मात्र स्टेडियममध्ये या सामन्यासाठी गर्दी होऊ शकली नाही. सुपरनावोसची कर्णधार हरमनप्रीत कौरने मंगळवारी मुंबईच्या वानखेडे स्टेडियममध्ये खेळवल्या जात असलेल्या महिला टी-२० चॅलेंज सामन्यात ट्रेलब्लेजर्सविरुद्ध टॉस जिंकताना पहिल्यांदा गोलंदाजी करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. मात्र या सामन्याला प्रेक्षकच लाभले नाहीत. हा ऐतिहासिक सामना पाहण्यासाठी प्रेक्षक स्टेडियममध्ये आले नाहीत मात्र ते ट्विटरवर सक्रिय होते.
