இந்தியா முழுவதும் கோலாகலமாக கொண்டாடப்படும் விழாக்களில் ஒன்று மகா சிவராத்திரி. சிவராத்திரியன்று, நாம் இரவு முழுக்க கண் விழித்து சிவபெருமானின் துதிகளை சொல்லிக்கொண்டே இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பது ஐதீகம். திங்கட்கிழமை என்பது சிவபெருமானுக்கு உரிய நாள் என்று கூறுவது வழக்கம். இந்த வருடம் மகா சிவராத்திரியும் திங்கட்கிழமை வந்துள்ளதால் கூடுதல் சிறப்பு வாய்ந்ததாக அமைத்துள்ளது.
ஒரு வருடம் சிவராத்திரி விரதம் இருப்பது என்பது நூறு அசுவமேத யாகம் செய்த பலனும், பல தடவை கங்கா ஸ்நானம் செய்த பலனும் கிடைக்கும் என்பது நம்பிக்கை.
2019 மகா சிவராத்திரி நாளான இன்று எத்தனை மணிக்கு பூஜை செய்ய வேண்டும், திதி மற்றும் விதி குறித்து தெரிந்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்
இந்த நாளில் சிவன் கோயில்களுக்குச் சென்று ஈஸ்வரனை வழிபட்டால் மன அமைதி, வாழ்க்கையில் முன்னேற்றம், தீய சக்திகள் நீங்கி நன்மைகள் நமக்கு உண்டாகும்.
