Welcome back.

...RUN CHASE...

The man of the moment, Riyan Parag is up for a chat. He says that it is the fruit of a lot of practice and there has been a lot of work that has gone behind the scenes. States that he is happy with his performance and always tries to keep his ready on both sides of the week. Shares that the talk with Kumar Sangakkara and Sanju Samson at the strategic break was to take the innings deep.

An excellent finish from Riyan Parag has powered the Rajasthan side to 185 for 5 in their 20 overs. The home side were struggling at 58 for 3 at the halfway mark and made a brilliant recovery from thereon to get a commanding score. Having put into bat first, Rajasthan were reeling at 36 for 3 in the eighth over when Riyan Parag and Ashwin came together and stitched a handy little partnership of 54 before Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer came in later in the innings, played handy cameos and sup

The Delhi bowlers were brilliant in the first half of the innings. Khaleel Ahmed, Mukesh Kumar, and Anrich Nortje were excellent upfront but were taken to the cleaners at the backend. All the Delhi bowlers got a wicket each. The Delhi batters have a huge task in their hand to chase this down and get their first win of the season. Can they do it? We shall find out soon. Join us in a bit for the second essay.

Mukesh Kumar to Shimron Hetmyer, An optimistic shout for caught behind by Rishabh Pant but the umpire is unmoved. Pant takes the review but this looks more in hope than anything else. Lands it on a fullish length, wide on off, Shimron Hetmyer clears his front leg and tries to force it through the off side. There is a noise as the ball passes the bat but it is a flat line on UltraEdge. The on-field decision will stand.

Strategic break! Delhi continue to dominate the proceedings with the ball and they just have not allowed the Rajasthan batters to have it their way. They cannot afford to be complacent though and need to keep doing what has worked for them to finish strongly.
