CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 1 Board exam date sheet released, check schedule here

CBSE has decided to conduct papers from 11:30 am instead of 10:30 am. Term 1 papers will have only objective-type questions. The duration of each paper will be 90 minutes.

The petition was filed by Deepa Joseph, an advocate, social activist also the mother of a class 10 student. She said that the boards are unjustified in keeping the collected amount as exams for classes 10 and 12 have been cancelled.

CBSE to form committee to check complaints regarding Class 12 marks

CBSE on June 21 said that it will form a Committee to check complaints regarding the Class 12 board marks. It said that if the candidates are not satisfied with their result, CBSE will provide them with an online facility for registration for the examination.

Class 12 results by July 31, optional exam b/w August & September: CBSE to SC

CBSE on June 21 filed an additional affidavit before the Supreme Court. The board informed that the results for the class 12th board exams would be declared by July 31. It also stated that the optional examination can be held between August and September.

CBSE had submitted the much-sought Class 12 evaluation criteria to the apex court on June 17, 2021. Supreme Court had asked the board to form a committee for dispute resolution. The apex court had also ordered CBSE to announce a firm timeline for the announcement of the Class 12 results.

As many as 1152 students moved Supreme Court for the cancellation of the CBSE Class 12 compartment exam. The petition filed through Advocate Manu Jaitley seeks a direction to CBSE board to arrive at a formula for performance evaluation of Class 10, 12 private/compartment/repeaters students in an expedited manner.

CBSE developing IT system to assist schools tabulate Class 12 results

CBSE announced that an IT system is being developed by the board to assist schools in the preparation of Class 12 results. "This system will also pre-populate marks of Class X of the students passed from CBSE. Efforts will also be made to take other Boards` class X results data," an official statement said.
