IPL 2021 Player Auction: Stars who will fetch the biggest bid
The player auction for the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will take place in Chennai on February 18. Some top players like Steve Smith, Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell have already been released by their respective franchises on Player Retention Day. Kings XI Punjab have the biggest purse with Rs. 53.2 crores in their kitty while Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals have Rs 35.7 crore and Rs. 34.9 crore respectively. Even MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings have Rs 22.9 crores to spend in the mini-auction. We take a look at some of the players who may draw big bets from the franchises.

IPL 2021: Here’s the full list of players up for grabs in mini-auction
The venue and dates for the tournament are not known as yet. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that it will try its best to make the tournament take place in India. IPL-13 took place in UAE after pandemic did not allow the lucrative tournament to take place in India. Players like Jason Roy and Steve Smith would be up for auctions along with stars like Glenn Maxwell and Tom Banton.
