Insurgents consolidating their position at Indo-Myanmar border
The northeastern insurgents groups are recruiting locals and consolidating their positions in Myanmar. As per the latest reports of security agencies, the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K) led by Yung Aung strengthening its position inside Myanmar. Indian foreign secretary Harsh Shringla and Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane was on a two-day visit to Myanmar recently.

After thorough checking of the bag dropped by the unknown person, the team recovered five packets of suspected crystal methamphetamine, popularly known as ICE. The consignment weighed 5.2 kg and is valued at around Rs 3.80 crore in the international market.
