Indian wrester Ravi Kumar Dahiya put on a sensational show on Wednesday (August 4) to enter the gold medal final in the 57kg category by defeating Kazakhstan's Nurislam Sanayev in the semifinal. Dahiya became just the second Indian wrester ever to enter the Olympics final after Sushil Kumar back in 2012 London Olympics.

Tokyo Olympics organisers say no postponement after reports of 1-2 years delay
Tokyo Olympics organisers said on Wednesday that neither the Tokyo 2020 organising committee nor the International Olympic Committee was considering postponing or cancelling the 2020 Games despite the spread of coronavirus. Earlier, a member of the organising committee`s executive board had told Reuters that a delay of one or two years would be the "most feasible" option if the Tokyo Olympics cannot be held this summer due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Japan may postpone Tokyo Olympics to end of 2020 as per IOC contract
Japan’s Olympics minister Seiko Hashimoto acknowledged in the country's Parliament on Tuesday (March 3, 2020) that Tokyo’s contract with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) would allow for a postponement of the Olympic Games until the end of the year following the threat of coronavirus which has killed over 3,100 people and has spread to 75 countries.

Concerns are swirling that Japan’s dream of hosting the Tokyo 2020 Olympics could be a fatality of the spread of the new coronavirus, jolting organisers, sponsors, and media firms who have spent billions of dollars in the run-up to the event.
