Mallorca: Toni Nadal, uncle and coach of Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal, has said that the greatest dream of his nephew is to win a Grand Slam tournament again.
Nadal, currently ranked 9th in the world, has won 14 Grand Slams during his award-studded career. But injuries have marred his performances in the last two years. His last Grand Slam title came in the French Open in 2014, reports Efe.
According to his uncle on Tuesday, after an involuntary break due to a left wrist injury, Nadal is doing well and is eager to play again.
The coach made these statements during the official presentation of the second edition of the Mallorca Open, which is to be played in June 2017 on the grass courts of Santa Ponsa, where Toni is the director of the event.
Toni added that Nadal still has a month of preparation before facing the 2017 season and hopes to do well in both Indian Wells and Miami.
