Planning To Tint Your Car Windows? Know The Rules To Avoid Challan

In 2012, the Supreme Court of India banned tinted films on car windows due to several cases of crimes committed inside vehicles with tinted windows. 

According to the law, the front and rear windows of the car must allow at least 70% visibility, while side windows must have 50% visibility. 

Any tinting that reduces visibility below these levels is illegal.
