Momos can cause life-threatening diseases, BJP's Jammu MLA bats for ban

New Delhi: Momos and other Chinese cuisine have managed to acquire a lot craze especially amongst youngsters in India.

But, sadly it has been speculated that momos can be dangerous for health.

Yes, you've heard it right!

BJP MLA from Jammu, Ramesh Arora has said that the much-loved momos should be banned as they can be lethal for health.

Momos contain carcinogenic monosodium glutamate or Ajinomoto and can lead to life-threatening diseases, like intestinal cancer.

The MLA has been speaking at public functions seeking a ban on the sale of momos in the state and eventualy in the country for the past five months.

“Momos have been found to be the root cause of several life-threatening diseases, including cancer of the intestine,”, Ramesh Arora said on Wednesday speaking about the ill-effects of momos on our health.
