30-year old man accidentally swallows a live fish, saved by doctors

New Delhi: A 30-year-old man from Podadhia village in Balasore district, Bhubaneswar as usual had gone to fishing to a nearby pond when a fish accidentally went inside his mouth.

Reportedly, as the man was holding the fish, it went straight into his mouth and settled in his throat .

As per a report published in Indian Express, he was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors tried their best to remove it but could not.

The man had to be shifted to a medical college where an X-ray was taken and later he was admitted to Apollo hospitals.

He was in acute pain and was also unable to walk before a team of doctors were successful in removing the fish from his throat.

He is said to be fine now.
