Swiggy, Zomato's conduct needs investigation, says CCI

According to the fair trade regulator, there is a prima facie case for certain actions of Zomato and Swiggy. CCI has requested its director general to conduct a thorough investigation into the claims and provide a report within two months. In July last year, the association filed a complaint with the antitrust commission, alleging data masking, deep discounting, and platform neutrality violations

Zomato incorporates Zomato Payments to offer payment gateway services

The incorporation has been done to carry the business of providing payment aggregator services and payment gateway services. Shares of Zomato Ltd closed at Rs 138.30 per scrip on BSE, down 0.79 per cent from its previous close. Zomato Pro Plus membership has been launched for select users.
