Egg prices in US are on the boil as America enters into a spat with India

South Asian countries supply 40% of organic Soya meal requirements of the United States. This increase in the price of soya meals could also contribute to an increase in prices of organic meat and dairy. The cost of Organic soybeans in the US reached $29.92 a bushel on Friday, which is 40% off from a year ago.

US export to India rises, trade deficit drops significantly

The US' export to India in both goods and services has increased this year, resulting in substantial drop in trade deficit as compared with the last year, according to the latest official figures. As per the figures available with the US Department of Commerce's Bureau of Census, in the first six months of this year, America's export to India in merchandise increased by 28.42 per cent from USD 12.1 billion to USD 15.5 billion.
