'US firm's product may have contributed to China's abuse of Tibetan People'

US firm Thermo Fisher is reported to have sold DNA kits and replacement parts for sequencers directly to Police Force in Tibetan Autonomous Region (TAR). Four members of the US Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC) recently wrote a letter expressing concern over the issue. Investigations have revealed that at least one American company, Thermo Fisher, is known to be supplying DNA profiling kits to police in the TAR.

'Never too late' to give up separatism, China tells Dalai Lama

China Wednesday asked the Dalai Lama to give up his bid to divide the country and said it was "never too late" return to the "right track" as the Tibetan spiritual leader turned 81.
