'Any WHO approved vaccine should be allowed for travel'
Apart from vaccines by Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna Inc, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson, the WHO has also given the green light to the two Chinese jabs, made by Sinovac and Sinopharm. The UN health agency said both were found to significantly reduce the risk of hospitalisations and deaths. The EU drug regulator is currently considering licensing China's Sinovac vaccine, but there is no timeline on a decision.

US slams China for not cooperating in investigation into origin of COVID-19
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken criticized China for manipulating the investigations says the Chinese Communist Party bent the investigation to its advantage. A group of international scientists called for a new investigation into the origins of Covid-19 last week after China and the World Health Organization (WHO) released a scrutinized report last week concluding that the virus most likely came from wildlife instead of a laboratory.

Director-General of the World Health Organization on Thursday (February 25) praised Indian government's initiative and commitment.
