550 litres of country liquor unearthed in search in Bihar's Gopalganj

More than 550 litres of country liquor, which was buried under the earth, was recovered during a search operation launched in Khajurwani ward of Gopalganj town where 16 persons died in a suspected hooch incident early this week.

Drink 'Tadi' to avoid spurious liquor – Lalu Yadav's advice to Biharis

Lalu Prasad, whose RJD is a major ally of the ruling Grand Alliance in Bihar, has advised habitual drinkers to consume "toddy", locally called "tadi", to avoid incidents like the hooch tragedy that has killed 16 people.
