From Pujara To Rahane: Players From India's Gabba Win Who Won't Play This Time
After the exciting battle in Perth and Adelaide, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, currently level at 1-1, now moves to the Gabba in Brisbane for the crucial third Test, a venue where India have fond memories. When India last played a Test match in Gabba in 2021, they showed great team spirit and resilience to register a famous win against Australia. The win was even more special because it came despite the absence of key players including Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja and others. The Rohit Sharma-led India will look to repeat the heroics in Gabba when they take the field on December 14. However, the Indian playing XI won't have many names, who were part of that famous win in 2021.
