COVID-19: IIT-Delhi launches affordable Rapid Antigen Test kit priced at Rs 50

Union Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre on Friday launched a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) kit for COVID-19. The IIT Delhi’s rapid antigen test kit for COVID-19 gives results within five minutes. This RAT kit is also affordable and will be available for purchase at a cost of Rs 50.

ICMR calls for COVID-19 testing by using rapid antigen test kits in Delhi

In view of an unprecedented rise in the coronavirus cases in the national capital, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has written a letter to the Centre calling for ramping up testing for COVID-19 in Delhi containment zones and hospitals by use of rapid antigen detection test.
