IMD issues red alert for Mumbai, predicts heavy rainfall in THESE states

Moderate rainfall on Saturday may bring down the temperature to 33 degrees Celsius in Delhi, said IMD. Several parts of Rajasthan witnessed heavy to very heavy showers since Wednesday. Heavy rains continue to disrupt normal life in coastal areas of Karnataka.

Monsoon rains to pick up over central India; IMD issues alert for U'khand

“Conditions are favorable for further advance of monsoon into remaining parts of Arabian Sea & Gujarat, parts of Rajasthan, remaining parts Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, some more parts of Uttar Pradesh and some parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir during next 3-4 days,” IMD said.

IMD predicts heavy rainfall along west coast, issues orange alert for Maha

Intense spell of rainfall is very likely to continue along the west coast during the next five days. Subdued rainfall activity over northwest and central India is expected between June 23 and June 25. IMD has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai, which is going to see heavy to very heavy rainfall for next few days.

Monsoon advances further into parts of Bengal, Bihar; IMD predicts heavy rain

The weather department informed that the conditions are favorable for further advance of monsoon into some more parts of Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and the northwest Bay of Bengal. Monsoon will also advance in some more parts of Chhattisgarh and Odisha, some more parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and northeast Uttar Pradesh during next two to three days.

IMD predicts rainfall in THESE states as Southwest monsoon advances further

Isolated heavy rainfall very likely over East Madhya Pradesh during 17th-20th. Isolated heavy rainfall very likely over Kerala & Mahe, coastal & South Interior Karnataka during next 5 days. Met Office also informed that isolated heavy rainfall likely over Jammu division, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Haryana on 17th June and over Punjab on 17th, 18th & 20th June.
