DNA: Who is responsible for stubble burning?
The Supreme Court has shown great strictness regarding pollution in Delhi. In this case, the Supreme Court had reprimanded the governments of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, UP and Delhi. Answers were sought from these states especially regarding the efforts to control pollution. A status report was given in the Supreme Court regarding the stubble of the Central Government. In this, there was a mention of the incidents of stubble burning in Haryana and Punjab and the steps taken to stop stubble burning in these two states.

Justice Mishra warned of consequences for those violating rules and regulations. "Nobody will be spared if found violating rules and regulations," said Justice Mishra. He added that everyone knew that the stubble burning would happen this year too then why was the government not ready in advance. "Why were the machines not provided? It seems no steps were taken throughout the year," added Justice Mishra.
