The program envisages the completion of 2.95 crore PMAY-G houses with all basic amenities by the year 2024. As on 21st February 2022, a total of 1.73 crores PMAY-G houses have been completed against the allocated cumulative target of 2.62 crore houses.

PM to release financial assistance of around Rs 2691cr to 6.1 lc beneficiaries

PM Modi will release financial assistance of around Rs 2691 crores to 6.1 lakh beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin. Prime Minister Office announced that it will be done via video conferencing at 12 noon. Union Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will also be present on the occasion.

PMAY-G: PM Modi to inaugurate 1.75 lakh houses in MP on September 12

PM Modi will participate in ‘Grih Pravesham’ and inaugurate 1.75 lakh houses built under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) in MP on September 12. All of these houses have been built/completed during the current COVID-19 pandemic period. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister will also be present on the occasion.
