UK launches 3rd booster dose trial of 7 COVID vax

The trial will assess COVID-19 vaccines of Oxford-AstraZeneca, Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Novavax, Valneva, Janssen and Curevac Cov-Boost, aims to begin in June and recruit 3,000 people of all ages who had their first dose in December or January

Emergency Use Approval not granted to AstraZeneca vaccine in India, here's why

SEC in CDSCO on Wednesday did not grant EUA to COVID-19 vaccine developed by Oxford-AstraZeneca for use in India. The SEC also refused to consider the EUA request of Pfizer and Bharat Biotech Pvt Limited. The SEC is scheduled to meet again on January 1 to hold discussions over this matter.
