Centre issues new guidelines for govt employees as COVID-19 cases spiral

"As a precautionary measure, it has been decided to suspend the marking of biometric attendance in Aadhaar-based biometric attendance system in all ministries, departments of the government of India, including its attached and subordinate offices, with immediate effect till January 31, 2022," an order issued by the Department of Personnel said.

Jharkhand eases COVID-19 curbs from today, restaurants, bars to open

All shops can remain open till 8 pm on weekdays and they will be closed from 8 pm on Saturday to 6 am on Monday. E-pass will not be required for movement in private vehicles within the state. All government and private offices will be allowed to operate with 50 percent of the workforce.
