UP CM felicitates NEET topper, says govt will bear her education expenses

CM congratulated Akanksha who was born in UP's Kushinagar and said that girls aren't less than boys and Akanksha has proved that. CM Yogi directed the Chief Secretary of the state to ask the expenses from the family and provide the sum of the amount at one go so that the family doesn't have to go through any difficulties in the future. He also asked Akanksha to continue to work hard.

Over 14 lakh JEE and NEET aspirants download admit cards

Over 14 lakh students have already downloaded the admit cards for engineering and medical entrance exams, JEE-Mains and NEET, till Wednesday evening. The NTA released admit cards for NEET on Wednesday amid the growing clamour for postponement of the two exams in view of rising COVID-19 cases. The JEE-Mains exam is scheduled to take place from September 1-6 while the NEET-UG is scheduled for September 13.

NEET, JEE on schedule, confirms NTA

The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) and the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) will be conducted in September as scheduled, said the NTA. This comes amid a growing chorus for postponing the crucial tests in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. While the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) is scheduled from September 1-6, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is planned on September 13.
