Mount Everest: Nepal, China announce revised height, check new height here

Nepal and China jointly announced the newly-measured height of Mount Everest at 8848.86 metres. The new height means that Mount Everest remains the tallest mountain on Planet Earth. It is to be noted that in 1955, height of Mount Everest was established by Indian survey at 8848m.

China's survey team seizes first Everest summit of 2020 to remeasure height

A Chinese survey team on Wednesday reached Mount Everest through Tibet to remeasure the exact height of the world's tallest mountain. According to China's measurement the height of Mount Everest is 8844.43 meters which is four meters less than Nepal's calculations, the state media reported.
