Nepal minister supports demand to declare country a Hindu state

A senior minister of Nepal has supported a demand to declare the country a Hindu state. He said if the majority of the population are in favour, it can be done through a referendum. Nepal was declared a secular state in 2008 after the abolition of monarchy.

Insulting the monarchy will not be tolerated, says Thailand`s police chief

Thailand`s police chief said on Wednesday insulting the monarchy would not be tolerated and anyone considering doing so should get out of the country, after a spike in cases following the death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej on Oct 13.
