Kerala to reopen higher education institutions from Oct 4: CM Pinarayi Vijayan

The reopening of the institutions will depend on at least the first dose COVID-19 vaccination of all final year students, faculty and staff. The CM urged school teachers to complete their vaccination by this week. Kerala on Tuesday logged 25,772 new COVID-19 infections taking the infection tally to 42,53,298.

Kochi Metro Rail to resume trains from today after 53 days, check timings here

Taking to Twitter, the KMRL said the service would resume from 8 AM to 8 PM after 53 days. Thermal scanning of passengers will also be done to check their temperatures before entering the station. The new restrictions which will be imposed on the basis of TPR will come into effect from Thursday (July 1).
