Srinagar records season's coldest night on Friday, temp dips to minus 6.6°C

Bone-chilling cold conditions continued in the Kashmir valley with the night temperatures continuously making a dip. Pahalgam, the famous tourist destination of the valley, also recorded minus 9.5°C, whereas, Qazigund witnessed minus 5.9°C. Kupwara saw minus 6.8° Celsius, Kokernag minus 6.2°C, Sonamarg minus 9.2°C, Anantnag minus 6.9°C and Shopian recorded minus 9.2°C.

Kashmir records season’s coldest night, temperature in Srinagar -6.4°C

The coldest night of this season was recorded in Srinagar on Wednesday. The temperature dipped to minus 6.4 degree Celsius, said MET official. The minimum temperature was three degrees below the normal for this time of the year.
