BCCI will earn WHOPPING Rs 2.95 crores from EACH OVER bowled in IPL
Interestingly, total of 410 games will be played in the span of five years - IPL 2023 to 2027. Hence, as per the calculations, each IPL match played during the mentioned period will be worth Rs 118 crores.

BCCI slapped with Rs 52-cr penalty for anti-competitive practices
The watchdog had penalised the cricket body for the same amount in February 2013 as well, but that penalty was set aside by the appellate tribunal after an appeal by the BCCI. The regulator noted that denial of market access is one of the severe forms of abuse of dominant position. The average turnover of Rs 1,164.7 crore is for three financial years -- 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16.
