Success Story: Chinu Kala, the founder of Rubans Accessories, is a true alpha female—fearless, bold, and full of spirit. Despite not completing her education, she started her own business. Chinu’s journey began when she had to leave school in Class 10 at St. Aloysius School in Mumbai. In 2004, she married Amit, who later became a director at Rubans. Chinu Kala also appeared on Shark Tank India, Season 2, where she secured an investment of Rs 1.5 crore from sharks Namita Thapar (Executive Director, Emcure Pharmaceuticals) and Vineeta Singh (Co-founder, Sugar Cosmetics).
