India captain Mandhana credited the third match win to team effort. The top scorer for South Africa was their captain Sune Luus, who scored 28 off 25 (3x4s). In reply, Shafali and Smriti provided a solid start by scoring 96 runs for the opening wicket.

Mithali Raj, who became the first Indian woman to score 10,000 international runs on Friday, steadied the ship in Raut's company as the duo stitched 77 runs for the third wicket. Towards the end, Deepti Sharma (36 not out) and Sushma Verma (14 not out) remained unbeaten and shared 27 runs for the sixth wicket to take India close to the 250-run mark.

Mithali Raj becomes 1st Indian batswoman to achieve THIS record
Mithali departed in the next ball, flicking a Bosch delivery straight to Mignon du Preez at midwicket. She made 36 runs off 50 balls and hit five boundaries in the process. Mithali has amassed 663 runs in 10 Test matches with a best score of 214, while she has 6938 and 2364 runs from 212 ODIs and 89 T20 Internationals respectively. The leading run-scorer across all formats continues to be Charlotte Edwards from England with 10,273 runs in 309 games.
