India face England, Australia play South Africa on T20 Women's World Cup semis
India face 2009 winner England in the first semifinal of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup on Thursday (March 5, 2020) with four-time champion Australia taking on South Africa in the second knockout match later in the day. Both the semifinals will be played at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground in Australia.

India on course for T20 Women's World Cup Final: Brett Lee
India are a vastly improved team and their progress to the ICC T20 Women's World Cup semifinal reveals the great strides the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side has made, says former Australian pace spearhead Brett Lee. Writing a column for the ICC, Lee credited the Indian women for topping Group A which also had four-time champion Australia in it by winning all their four matches.

Women's T20 World Cup: India defeat Bangladesh by 18 runs
Batting first, India scored 142 for the loss of six wickets with Shafali Verma top-scoring with 36 runs. In response, Bangladesh managed to score 124 runs in their allotted quota of 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets.
