Nepal minister supports demand to declare country a Hindu state

A senior minister of Nepal has supported a demand to declare the country a Hindu state. He said if the majority of the population are in favour, it can be done through a referendum. Nepal was declared a secular state in 2008 after the abolition of monarchy.
