HDFC Bank Shares Plunge Over 8 Pc Post Q3 Earnings

HDFC Bank on Tuesday reported a 2.65 per cent rise in consolidated net profit of Rs 17,258 crore for the October-December period against Rs 16,811 crore in the preceding September quarter.

HDFC-HDFC Bank merger: NCLT approves shareholders' meet

The shareholder meeting will be convened on November 25, 2022. The deal has got in-principle approval from the stock exchanges, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Sebi, Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) and Competition Commission of India (CCI). Every HDFC shareholder will get 42 shares of HDFC Bank for every 25 shares held.

HDFC Bank declares 1550% dividend for shareholders

The board at its meeting has recommended a dividend of Rs 15.50 per equity share. HDFC Bank reported a 23 per cent jump in standalone net profit to Rs 10,055.20 crore. The bank's net profit during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal stood at Rs 8,186.51 crore.
