In the petition, the Hindu side had requested that the worship of Jyotirlinga should be started with immediate effect and the premises should be handed over to the Hindus. The court has fixed December 2 as the next date of hearing.

The Muslim side has got a shock on the Gyanvapi case from the Varanasi court. The court has rejected the application of the Muslim side on 7 November. The reactions of the lawyers of the Hindu side have come to the fore on the court's decision. They said that there will be a hearing on permission for worship on December 2, in which we will demand the right to worship immediately.
The hearing of the Gyanvapi case is going on in the Supreme Court today. Hearing is being held to increase the security limit of structures like Shivling found during the survey. Till now its period was till 12 November. During this, the Muslim side has said in its argument that there is no problem in following this order. Watch this video.
Gyanvapi Mosque case: A bench headed by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud on Thursday took note of the submissions of advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, appearing for some Hindu devotees, and said the order granting protection was expiring on November 12. “We will constitute a bench at 3 PM tomorrow,” the CJI said.
