In Chennai, 1.7kg pure gold worth Rs. 87.6 lakhs seized from Dubai returnees

Air Customs officials caught five passengers trying to smuggle gold. A total of 1.7 kg gold was recovered of 24k purity. The gold valued at Rs 87.62 lakhs was seized under the Customs Act.
