Farmers will call off agitation after studying govt's new draft prop
The SKM had earlier said that a consensus has been reached over a revised draft proposal of the Centre on their pending demands. The apex body of farmers said that it will meet on Thursday to decide the future course of the movement, even as its leaders demanded a formal communication on government letterhead.

"Farmers' protests will continue until after govt accepts all of our demands... It would be problematic for us if we withdraw our protest, but they don't take back the cases. Govt should announce a timeline for the withdrawal of cases," farmer leader Gurnam Singh Charuni said in Delhi.
