IMD said that no significant heat wave conditions are likely over Delhi during the next 4-5 days. The capital recorded a maximum temperature of 36.6 degrees Celsius.

Delhi: Tuesday was the hottest day of the entire season

The capital was on Tuesday recorded by the Safdarjung Observatory as the hottest day of the year with the maximum temperature reaching 43 degrees Celsius, six notches above normal. Some parts of the city, including Najafgarh, Pitampura, Mungeshpur and Pusa stations, were hotter.
