Delhi Govt To Deploy E-Scooters, E-Cycles In Dwarka For Last-Mile Connectivity
Delhi Govt will deploy a total of 3,000 electric vehicles across 90 locations in the Dwarka sub-city in three phases, to improve last mile connectivity and reduce pollution.

Bad news for Tata Motors! Delhi govt suspends subsidy on Tata Nexon EV
The Delhi government has delisted the electric version of the Tata Nexon car from its subsidy scheme for electric vehicles. An order issued by the Delhi Transport department on Monday said that a three-member committee has been constituted to verify claims of the complainants and assertions of Tata Motors in support of the model. Delhi Transport minister Kailash Gahlot on Monday said several users had complained of the "sub-standard" driving range offered by the Nexon electric vehicle (EV).

He also urged four-wheeler owners in the city to switch to electric vehicles (EVs) and claimed that the subsidies being offered by the Delhi government are one of the highest in the country on the purchase of EVs. Subsidies provided on electric cars in Delhi's EV policy are reducing the total cost of ownership of electric cars by up to 30 per cent, he said. The minister said that an individual can save up to Rs 1,050 per month by switching to an EV from a diesel car.
