Boost to Army against China, Pak: This missile to be deployed along borders

The acquisition of these ballistic missiles is being seen as a big development for the country. Both China and Pakistan have ballistic missiles which are for tactical roles. The missile developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation is being further developed and its range can be extended significantly.

DRDO increases ICU beds in Delhi's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Covid Hospital

DRDO has increased number of ICU beds to 500 in Delhi's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Covid Hospital amid surge in coronavirus cases. Delhi has witnessed more than 5.6 lakh COVID-19 infections and currently has 35,091 active coronavirus cases. Over 9,000 people have also succumbed to the virus.

DRDO identifies 108 systems, subsystems to be developed by Indian industry

Responding to the clarion call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for “Atmanirbhar Bharat”, the DRDO has taken several initiatives to strengthen the indigenous defence ecosystem. The systems and sub-systems in the list of 108 items include mini and micro Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), mini and micro Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). The list also includes Armoured Engineering reconnaissance vehicle (AERV), anti-terrorist vehicle, multispectral camouflage net, bulletproof vehicle.
