Lambasting the DDCA for deciding to install a statue of Jaitley at Kotla, Bedi has asked the body to remove his name from the spectators' stand. He made the demand in a scathing letter addressed to DDCA President Rohan Jaitley, the son of the late politician. "I pride myself as a man of immense tolerance and patience...But all that I'm afraid, is running out. DDCA has truly tested me and forced me to take this drastic action," said Bedi.
Late BJP leader Arun Jaitley's son Rohan Jaitley, was on Saturday (Oct 17) elected DDCA president unopposed. The only other candidate for the position withdrew, thus making Jaitley the new president. Rohan Jaitley, 31, is an advocate by profession and has no prior experience in cricket administration.

In a glittering ceremony in the national capital on Thursday, not only was the famous Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium rechristened the Arun Jaitley Stadium in honour of the late Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) President Arun Jaitley, but the new players` pavilion was also named after India skipper Virat Kohli.
