J&K DDC elections: Re-poll in two seats today due to PoK-origin candidates

State election commission had declared the polling in two District Development Council (DDC) seats in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara and Bandipora districts as void citing wrong information about the place of birth by the PoK-origin candidates.

J&K DDC elections 6th phase: Around 50% votes polled, fate of 245 candidates

The sixth phase of voting for the DDC elections across Jammu and Kashmir is going on The voting will be conducted in 31 constituencies, including 14 from Kashmir Division and 17 from Jammu Division In 6th phase, 7,48,301 electors, 3,90,432 male and 3,57,869 female voters are registered to cast their votes.

BJP workers, journalists rescued from Dal Lake as their shikara keels over
