DCW chairperson Swati Maliwal said she was dragged by a car while she was inspecting the situation of women's security in the national capital. She said that the car driver had "molested her" in an inebriated condition and when she tried to get hold of him, he locked her hand in the car window and dragged her.

The accused identified as Ashutosh has been arrested and according to police, it was Ashutosh`s car under which the victim was dragged for over 12 kilometres on Sunday.
