Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the District Magistrates of various districts today. PM Modi said, Convergence is a big reason for the success the country is getting in the aspirational districts. All the resources are the same, the government machinery is the same, the officials are the same but the result is different.

Byju's, NITI Aayog offer to provide free education in 112 Aspirational Distric

The project envisages establishment of a dedicated working group that will create a knowledge, innovation, and strategy support system, a statement said. The team will also actively monitor and evaluate programme implementation to enable efficacy and ensure better scope of delivery, it added. Effective use of technology in education can aid transformation and with Byju's joining in, the students in these aspirational districts will get an opportunity to access quality education, he added.

NITI Aayog reveals most backward district in India, releases ranking mechanism

The 49 indicators on 81 data points will cover five development areas - health and nutrition, education, agriculture and water resources, financial inclusion and skill development and basic infrastructure.
