Uttarakhand disaster: 36 bodies recovered till now, rescue operations continue

The glacier burst in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district has left many in distress. NDRF and SDRF personnel teamed up with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) to mount rescue operations. Over 168 people remain missing on the fourth day of rescue operations. Authorities said that out of 36 bodies discovered by the personnel only 10 bodies have been identified. Jawans 'rescued' pregnant Kashmiri woman in snowfall

Video of Army personals from Jammu Kashmir rescuing a pregnant lady gone viral on social media. In the video, Army jawans can be seen carrying the stretcher through the snow. Jawan helped the lady to transfer her from the civil hospital of Gurez to a specialized medical facility.
