Government will use SC verdict to fight Devas 'fraud' internationally: FM

The deal was cancelled in 2011 on the ground that the auction of the broadband spectrum was mired in fraud. Sitharaman accused Congress-party led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government for allowing the fraudulent deal and letting it linger for so many years. Sitharaman said the Supreme Court`s order clearly prove that the Antrix-Devas deal was a fraud and scandalous.

Antrix-Devas deal: India to appeal against Hague tribunal's verdict

India will appeal against the verdict of the Hague tribunal in Antrix-Devas deal case, in which the international court had declared the annulling of the contract as "unfair" and "inequitable" and asked it to pay huge amount as compensation.
