Ambedkar Jayanti: Nation celebrates Dr BR Ambedkar’s 131st birth anniversary

Tamil Nadu CM announced that the birth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar on April 14 would be celebrated as 'Equality Day' from this year onwards. Maharashtra unveiled a 72-feet tall statue dedicated to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary in Latur city. The Telangana government would install the proposed 125-ft tall statue of Dr B R Ambedkar here by December this year.
