In view of the demonstrations to be held in Delhi today regarding the Agneepath scheme, the police has issued an alert. The police has appealed to the common people not to go on some roads of Delhi today. These include Motilal Nehru Marg, Akbar Road, Man Singh Road, Tughlaq Road. The police has advised not to go on these roads from 8 am to 12 noon.
On the one hand, the anger of the youth about the Agnipath scheme has reached to 16 states, on the other hand the debate has intensified in the political circles as well. The Center and the opposition are constantly fighting over this issue. The Center alleges that the opposition is instigating the youth, while the opposition is adamant on the demand to withdraw the Agnipath scheme.
The ruckus over the Agnipath scheme has not stopped yet. A bandh was called by the opposition against this scheme in Bihar today. During this there has been arson and stone pelting by the protesters. Now the question is whether a conspiracy is being hatched in the name of protesting against Agnipath?
Protests are going on across the country against the Agnipath scheme. Protesters have targeted many trains. The Railways on Friday said that over 300 trains have been affected so far and over 200 have been canceled in protest against the Agnipath scheme for recruitment to the defense services.
