Babar Azam rejoins Somerset for 2020 Vitality Blast T20 tournament

Pakistan batsman Babar Azam will rejoin Somerset for this year`s Vitality Blast, the county club confirmed on Saturday. The 25-year-old was the leading run-scorer in the 2019 edition, scoring 578 runs at an impressive average of 52.54 with one century and four half-centuries. He will be re-joining Somerset from September 2 to October 4. Babar is currently captaining Pakistan in their T20I series against England.

Mohammad Nabi, Kent mutually cancel contract amid coronavirus crisis

Nabi, who is currently placed at No.1 spot in the ICC T20I rankings, made nine appearances for Kent in 2019’s Blast competition and amassed 147 runs in it besides bagging eight wickets.
